Following the City of Pittsfield’s lead on instituting Governor Bakers COVID-19 restrictions, the Berkshire Regional Transit Authority (BRTA) will limit public use of the Intermodal Transportation Center (ITC) beginning Monday March 16, 2020. The Berkshire Regional Transit Authority has updated connections for some routes, edited the current schedules for easier customer use, and created a new circulator loop servicing Great Barrington with a starting date of December 30, 2019. Taxi Ticket Program Ending

Beginning July 1, 2019, Berkshire Regional Transit Authority’s (BRTA) Taxi Ticket program will no longer sell blue taxi tickets, as this program will be ending. Due to the significant decline in ridership, the BRTA Advisory Board approved the recommendation to discontinue this service.
