The Berkshire Regional Transit Authority (BRTA) announced this afternoon that should the current paratransit strike continue into the weekend, the current limited fixed route bus service will not run on Saturday, December 8. Paratransit service will be limited to transporting only essential medical services on Saturday, December 8 and Sunday, December 9.
On Monday, December 10, the fixed bus route service will again operate on the limited schedule. The paratransit service will resume both essential medical and additional transportation requests.
