Since the meeting on November 26, representatives of the union and First Transit have been negotiating with Federal mediators to see if an agreement can be reached by Friday November 30. As of 4:30PM today, there remains open communication between the two sides. Representatives will hold a meeting to vote on any final offer made this weekend. This means all BRTA paratransit and fixed route service will operate as usual through this weekend. Should any offer be rejected, service will not operate beginning on Monday December 3, 2018.
Additional information will be posted to BRTA’s website, as well as distributed to other media outlets once it is received.
