The Berkshire Regional Transit Authority (BRTA) will be closing early today due to the imminent snow storm. Heavy snow is predicted to cover the Berkshires early this afternoon at the rate of 1 to 3 inches per hour. For the safety of BRTA customers, operators, and the general public, BRTA bus service will stop running according to the following schedule:
- BRTA Route 1 – the final bus will leave the ITC at 12:30 PM, returning at 2:30PM
- BRTA Route 2 – the final bus will leave the ITC at 12:30 PM, returning at 2:30 PM
- BRTA Route 3 – the final bus will leave Main Street North Adams at 12:15 PM to Downing Parkway via US Route 8.
- BRTA Route 3 Special – will not run
- BRTA Route 4 – the final bus will leave the ITC at 12:35 PM, ending at Walmart Pittsfield at 1:05 PM
- BRTA Route 11 – the final bus will leave the ITC at 12:35 PM, returning at 1:01 PM
- BRTA Route 12 – the final bus will leave the ITC at 12:30 PM, ending at Downing Parkway at 12:49 PM
- BRTA Route 13 – the final bus will leave the ITC at 12:05 PM, returning at 12:30 PM
- BRTA Route 14 – the final bus will leave the ITC at 1:00 PM, ending at Downing Parkway at 1:30 PM
- BRTA Route 15 – the final bus will leave the ITC at 12:00 PM, returning at 12:30 PM
- BRTA Route 16 – the final bus will leave the ITC at 12:30 PM, returning at 12:59 PM
- BRTA Route 21 – the final bus will leave the Premium Outlets at 12:30 to Downing Parkway via US Route 7 & 20
- BRTA Route 34 – the final bus will leave Walmart North Adams at 12:30 PM, to Downing Parkway via US Route 8
