BRTA Travel Training is a FREE service designed to teach individuals, groups, students, passengers with disabilities, and seniors how to travel independently throughout Berkshire County.
What is Travel Training?
Self-paced and available to all, the training process is individualized with an overall emphasis on safety. A qualified mobility instructor travels with you to your desired locations when it’s convenient for you. Your instructor will stay with you, teaching you techniques for safe travel until you are ready to travel on your own.
Learning to travel independently and confidently on the public bus transportation system opens up social, recreational, educational, and employment opportunities. See our Travel Training brochure or Spanish version.
