TRANSIT EMPLOYEE APPRECIATION DAY

Please help the Berkshire Regional Transit Authority (BRTA) say thank you to our frontline staff on Friday March 18, 2022 for Transit Employee Appreciation Day.  “While our bus operators are the face of the BRTA, many others including the mechanics, utility, and maintenance staff help to ensure our vehicles are safe and clean for our riding customers” said Robert Malnati, BRTA Administrator. “They all continue to help move our customers safely throughout the ongoing pandemic, and we want to share our appreciation for what they do every day to make the Berkshires a great place to live and work.”

“All of our employees work tirelessly to provide the best possible service to this community,” said Rauley Caine, General Manager of Berkshire Transit Management, the BRTA’s service operator. “We are extremely proud of the dedication and commitment of everyone who takes even the smallest part in making sure that our vehicles are clean, that the bus service is dependable, and that our customers are transported to the best of our abilities.”

As part of this celebration – BRTA is collecting comments and stories from riders and other community members to share with employees on Transit Appreciation Day 2022. Should you know a special bus operator or other BRTA employee that deserves recognition or just want to say thank you to all BRTA staff, please consider sending a thank you message by emailing info@berkshirerta.com or by calling BRTA directly at 413-499-2782 ext 1.
